Brought to the attention of the fancy at the 1995 Regional, "Toni" was RB and Best Puppy and repeated the RB win the next day. Then shown in the Midwest, she was BOB over 9 Specials, BOB over 11 Specials. At the ABC National in 1996, she was Best Senior in Futurity and in the Best of Breed competition, she was the only bitch of five Specials who received an Award of Excellence. Owned by Linda Huffman, Carole Connolly and Dr Ted Fickes, she was handled expertly by Linda. The triple owners are her breeders.

In 1996 Barbara Gibson and Phillip Koenig, who placed her in the capable hands of Bobby Barlow, acquired "Toni". In 1997 "Toni" saw many Best of Breed awards, Specialties, and numerous Group placing throughout the year. "Toni" went on to win the 1998 Top Twenty and then took Best Opposite Sex at the 1998 ABC National.
