Star Dust shown with her handler Rick Justice, began her career at the age of 9 months going Winners Bitch for a four point major in 1996. A mere three months later she went Breed from the puppy classes. The following month saw her taking Best of Breed, again from the puppy class - an entry of over 90 Boxers. This win was followed a few days later, taking a Group ll - an entry of 80 Boxers. Star Dust was then awarded BOB and Group. She finished off the month of July with two more BOB.
During the last half of 1996, Star Dust won five Best in Specialty shows in a four month period, consistently beating many of the top ranked Boxers in the country. Her handler has led her to these multiple Best of Breeds, Best in Specialty wins and Group placements.....and finally, the ultimate, that of the 1997 winner of the Top Twenty.
